Our Printing Studio

We print all of our products by hand in our Brooklyn, NY studio. When you order stationery from Sesame Letterpress, you are supporting a small, women-owned and operated business.

Our Process

Letterpress printing is done by inking a plate with a raised surface of type and/or images and pressing this surface into a sheet of cotton paper, creating a tactile, de-bossed impression. The cast-iron presses we work with are from the 1800's.
